POST MORTEM EIS REQUIRED FOR ADAGE?

STILL ANOTHER NAIL IN ADAGE'S COFFIN

Submitted to Shelton Blog by John Cox Mason County Progressive

In a March 9, 2011 letter to the Mason County Department of Community Development (the lead agency for the ADAGE SEPA), Mason County Prosecuting Attorney Michael Dorcy stated his opinion:

"...I therefore agree with the previous determinations made by Community Development staff and the Pacific International Engineering consultant, and it remains the opinion of the Mason County Prosecutor's Office that the proposed ADAGE project is an energy recovery facility requiring an Environmental Impact Statement prior to its operation."
May we all breathe in peace!

  1. Yet another elected official who wants to enforce the rules created to protect the citizens.

Our prosecuting attorney must not have received the Citizens United memo that he is no longer required to represent our interests. Thank goodness. This should make the sale of Adage's position more difficult!
