The Smoking Stack?

's blog posting today at http://masoncountybudget.blogspot.com/ is called "Premeditated Permitting". This video clip gives additional insight into what she is talking about.

The clip is from a 2006 (that's right, 2006) bio-energy conference which was attended by Jay Hupp and Tim Sheldon--the dynamic duo of premeditated neutrality.

  1. Currently, despite RCW 36.70B.140, Tim Sheldon claims the commissioners' hands are 'tied' if Adage meets the regulatory requirements. Of course their hands were NOT 'tied' when they elevated the height ordinance restrictions, thereby allowing the smokestack Jay Hupp references. If they can raise the height, they can lower it! i.e. The commissioners can reject bio-incinerators in Mason County if they so choose.

Send in your ballot. Make your vote Sting! Elect JUSTIN STANG for 35th District Senator.
He will fight for your right to be heard and taken seriously.

Theresa Jacobson can be counted on by those in PUD#3's district to act responsibly and in their interest rather than giving carte blanche to a pollution prone industry/corporation such as Adage. The reason Mason County residents are being hung out to dry is their elected officials are allowing/encouraging it. It's time for a change and officials who listen to the people.
