Very Good!
A visiting Judge from Thurston or Pierce County, probably. This is an appropriate result. Neither the Senator/Commissioner's sister, Judge Sheldon, nor any other local judge, should hear this matter. We should get a much better result, one hopes, with a visiting judge!
Go to WWW.ratethecourts.com and look up Judge Christine A. Pomery. Ain't that good!
Looked her up...OMG!!!
Oh, Boy! We may be in for some problems tomorrow. According to the survey, she pretty much Favors the Defense! Her overall grade was a C-.
She has to follow the law; the statute favors the citizen - not the public official... If she rules badly, we may be looking at an appeal to a higher authority...
Of course, all of this costs $$$$ for the 14 Plantiff's. An Appeal costs $$$$. This is the issue here before us tomorrow.
Then we have to find an environmentally friendly attorney who is experienced in appeals, and who is willing to take the appeal on "pro bono." First, let's see how the judge rules before we start worrying about how to respond to her ruling. I suggest we send some love and light to her mind and expect the best for now.
