Commissioner Jerry Lingle Dies

Mason County Commissioner Jerry Lingle has died. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reports that Lingle was discovered in his home by his son about 4:30 PM Friday.
An initial investigation by the Sheriff's Office determined that there were NO indications of foul play and it is believed Lingle died of natural causes...
Lingle won the Commissioner District 3 seat last November as an Independent and served eight months in office. He was 57.

Jerry Lingle takes with him a little bit of the very best in our community, but he leaves behind a reminder of what is truly valuable in this short life. Meeting Jerry for the first time was like stepping into a warm and friendly room. He will be missed.
