What's up ORCAA?

Submitted to Shelton Blog by John Cox

ORCAA, the agency charged with the task of protecting us from pollution, etc., is promoting the Biomass Fuels Summit.
I don't get it. Why would they promote the industries that they are supposed to be protecting us from? Could it be that we are confused and don't understand what ORCAA's job really is?
"The Biomass to Fuels Summit 2010 is presented by Biomass Energy Journal. The Summit’s goal is to advance the production of biofuels from biomass and to develop the supply chains that deliver waste biomass streams and dedicated energy crops to end users as finished energy products."

Let's ask ORCAA about this at the demonstration on Wednesday, October 6th!

  1. When I went to the ORCAA site &
clicked on the link to the Biomass
    Fuels Summit, I couldn't believe
    my eyes!!!

It was like some sort of SICK joke!!!
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!!!

Instead, I am especially looking forward
to the demonstration at the ORCAA
    offices on Wed.!!!

  2. This is so scary; the very organization we were hoping might be able to stop this biomassacre is all on board with it.

More continuing education of the public, more oversight of the people we foolishly elected to serve the public, who now all apparently work for ADAGE, SIMPSON/SOLOMON, et al. Anyone but the pesky citizens, all they promise is a vote; what is that, compared to hard, cold cash? Anyone with a plan to build something really deadly in our community, come on down; our elected officials are all for sale (except Jack!)
